Canada’s leading accelerator, Ryerson Futures helps drive the success of innovative and scalable technology startups by offering strategic and tactical guidance focused product validation and customer acquisition. We’re not a “traditional” accelerator. We don’t have cohorts or demo days. Instead, we deliver customized programming based on each startup's needs, and we provide access to a global network of advisors, mentors and corporate partners. Ryerson Futures also operates the 'Innovation for Hire' consulting practice that works with corporations looking to explore, embrace and develop products that capitalize on new ideas and innovative technologies. For high-potential startups, we can invest as much as $100,000 in seed capital and support future fundraising activities. Founded in 2012, Ryerson Futures operates accelerators in Toronto (Zone Startups Sports & Media), Calgary (a partnership with GE Canada) and India, a joint venture in Mumbai with the Bombay Stock Exchange and a partnership with Barclays in Bangalore.
