SciStem Therapeutics is an early stage regenerative medicine company developing novel cell and cell-based gene therapies for bone healing and musculoskeletal indications in people and pets. The company’s products in development contain tissue-derived stem cells from a single donor, that are commercially expanded, and frozen to be administered by physicians, surgeons or veterinarians in unrelated recipients at the point of care. SciStem’s lead program is indicated for bone healing in fractures that do not heal otherwise and for spinal fusion. Pre-clinical animal models have demonstrated robust and rapid bone healing with no adverse effects.
