Telegraph Media Group is a multi-media news publisher behind The Daily Telegraph and The Sunday Telegraph newspapers.

One of the UK's largest daily newspapers founded in 1855 by Colonel Arthur B. Sleigh. The first edition of the newspaper appeared on June 24 1855. In 2006 the company name The Daily Telegraph was changed to the Telegraph Media Group, to reflect its move into technology and other media. Telegraph.co.uk is one of the top news sites in the UK and is now spreading its coverage elsewhere around the globe. Launched as the electronic telegraph at 15 November 1994 it was Europe's first online news portal. Ian MacGregor was named editor of the newspaper in February 2014 after serving a month in an acting capacity. Telegraph Media Group is one of the UK’s leading consumer brands. It continues to be a brand of choice for the UK’s job seekers and is recognised for its strong product offering which includes the Daily Telegraph (the UK’s biggest selling quality newspaper).
