TiE (The Indus Entrepreneurs) is a global, not-for-profit network of entrepreneurs and professionals dedicated to the advancement.

TiE (The Indus Entrepreneurs) is a global, not-for-profit network of entrepreneurs and professionals dedicated to the advancement of entrepreneurship. TiE provides a supportive platform for mentoring, networking, and education for both entrepreneurs and other professionals interested in economic value creation. TiE was started in 1992 by a group of successful South Asian, Silicon Valley professionals and entrepreneurs who were interested in giving back to society and foster the next generation of entrepreneurs. It has now grown into an open and inclusive international organization that crosses religious, ethnic and political borders. With a network of 56 chapters in countries ranging from Sweden and Dubai to India and Malaysia and over 13,000 members worldwide. TiE has brought together entrepreneurs, business people, government policy makers, professional service providers, academics, and the media, with the objective of enhancing the entrepreneurial climate in diverse geographic areas.
