Tierney, teaching professional at Grey Oaks in Naples, Florida and Weston Golf Club in Weston, Massachusetts, is a respected instructor who was twice named the Massachusetts Teacher of the Year by the New England PGA and by Golf Digest, Top Instructors by State, has more than 25 years of teaching experience. He was mentored by the legendary Ken Venturi who taught him that “Golfers don’t get out of swing, they get out of position.” This simple concept is the basis for PowerPlane, the company’s first product.
