Trace Technologies is the company behind Tracegolf a golf driving range system designed to improve facilities' core programs and services and increase customers engagement and loyalty. Their first product is a revolutionary golf ball. It has an active electronic chip built in, communicates to terminals around the range and still performs like a very good ball. It measures the distance, direction and final position of every shot and allows to calculate spin, and trajectory. These live data points are then put in perspective of games, trainings and challenges on a tablet using a proprietary interface. Their second product is a SmartTarget. It's an image processing technology embedded in a field target. It locates and identifies balls hit by golfers on the range. It's a lighter product covering a smaller area but it uses the same interface as the SmartBall system at a more affordable price.
