Hardware Description

The Benefon ESC!, released in 1999, was introduced and was one of the first cellular devices with a built in GPS. The Benefon Esc! is capable of displaying location information that it picks up from global positioning system satellites onto a map screen. This phone can do everything that a handheld GPS reader does, but it also includes the ability to send the coordinates of your location in the form of a wireless message.
