Hardware Description

The Tournament 2000 was sold by Unisonic in 1977 and featured 6 different games and a light gun with various attachments. Unisonic was an American based company that outsourced most of it’s manufacturing to Japan, Korea and other areas. This particular model was most probably made in Japan. The games built into this pong console were Hockey/Soccer, Practice, Skeet Shooting (making Little John proud with that one), Target Shooting, Squash/Handball, and Tennis/Table Tennis. The box describes many of the useful features for this early video game console, including the ability to hook it up to your TV in seconds, three different authentic sounds, individual controls connected by wires, and automatic digital on screen scoring!
