ASG-ODE (Online Data Entry) is an online tool designed for reliable heads-down data entry, data entry application development, sophisticated system control facilities, and standard data entry activities.ODE is user-oriented, powerful, and advanced software that is easy to use, making it ideal for novice and expert users alike. ODE eliminates the need for additional hardware by allowing direct entry to mainframe files. It will run in a CICS® environment or a VTAM-based environment and does not require key-to-disk, key-to-tape, or key-to-diskette hardware. In addition, ODE avoids delays caused by creating batches and transporting data.
