They also can interact by following each other, sending private letters, and so on. Officially launched on May 12, 2007, fanfou.com’s user base increased from 300,000 to one million in 2009. On November 11, 2010, the information on the webpage of fanfou.com announced that fanfou.com would be open for login again. Fanfou has been recognized as a micro-blog originator and its main competitors include Sina micro-blog, NetEase micro-blog, and so on.
