Intelligent Life Ltd is a New Zealand-based company that specializes in the design and deployment of innovative distribution solutions for the life and health insurance industry, featuring electronic underwriting solutions and straight-through-processing. In 2007 Intelligent Life implemented its first product; a cloud-based distribution platform for life insurance, offering fully underwritten policies to consumers at the lowest price in the market, issued instantly online. When launched, the platform was a world-first of its type. It was initially rolled out under license in New Zealand for life insurer Pinnacle Life, enabling Pinnacle to more than double its in-force business in just three years.
