KooBits

KooBits is an online platform created to help teach children who are disfavored in society.

KooBits is a software firm focusing on interactive digital publishing. Founded in 2009, it is the developer behind the KooBits 4.0 ebook reader and organizer software. KooBits 4.0 lets users import and organize their computer's ebook collection in addition to titles purchased from within KooBits' Bookstore. The traditional bookshelf design and functions such as bookmarking, highlighting, and scrapbooking are reminiscent of real books, and enhance the reading experience for static ebooks. KooBits is producing an array of enhanced interactive ebooks in partnership with leading book distributors, including Tien Wah Press and graphic novel publisher Papercutz. The startup's goal is to make interactive ebooks widely available through KooBits 4.0, which is free to use.
