Ensogo is derived from the words Entertain, Social, and Go. Ensogo is now a part of LivingSocial, a global company with approximately 43 million members in 25 countries. In The Philippines, Ensogo Philippines is a Social Commerce website that offers members discounted deals in Manila, Cebu and soon in Davao. Ensogo also operates in Thailand and in Indonesia as DealKeren. The deals are available for 3 – 7 days to their members at savings of up to 90% off regular price. Ensogo was officially incorporated as a legal entity in 2009 in Thailand, and due to the positive response from the consumers, it set up business in Manila, Philippines in July 2010. On February 2011, Ensogo Philippines formed an agreement with Yahoo Philippines to have its deals featured on its website.5 In the same year, Ensogo has also partnered with Banco De Oro to provide consumers additional discounts which ran for 4 months. By July 2011, Ensogo officially joined the LivingSocial family.
