Hardware Description
The Sharp EL-8020 ELSIMATE is an arithmetic calculator with 8 digits precision and algebraic logic. It has 6 functions, 20 keys and one of the early LCD (liquid crystal) displays which incorporated a yellow filter. The power source is 2x1.5V cell.
This calculator was a prototype for two early 1980s Soviet calculators, Electronica B3-30 and B3-39.
