The Synergy Integrated Digital Broadcast Centre combines a digital mixer, audio routing, software playout, scheduling and digital recording in one integrated system. This integration simplifies user operation and allows presenters to access functions normally reserved for advanced users. The same environment is designed to be intuitive and is accessed through a touch-screen with icons and colour coding used throughout to improve learning and retention. All aspects of the broadcast process are covered within the environment: - ripping, recording, production, data-entry, scheduling and playout. The system can multi-task to perform broadcast and production operations simultaneously if required and pre-sets can be saved for each user reducing operator error and technician intervention. Live assist and fully automated broadcasting are supported. Synergy Systems are used by state, community, education and commercial broadcasters.
