Company Description

Bringing offline retail business online

COMMIT Internet Ventures (CIV) is launched in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia in late 2011 with a goal of creating an online marketing and sales channel for offline retail businesses in the MENA region. COMMIT's business model is based on generating additional revenues for their retail partners through the company's websites. COMMIT markets services and products of retailers using their distribution channels and receive commissions from sales. COMMIT’s first e-business, FURSATY.com, was launched in April 2012. FURSATY (“my chance” or “my opportunity” in Arabic) provides “exclusive daily offers” on exciting products and services from local and national businesses at great discounts that can be socially shared. Since inception, COMMIT has redefined Online Marketing and eCommerce in the Middle East by creating value for the users and guaranteeing new customers for businesses. COMMIT's goal is to surprise their customers every day; so, they dig deep to find fresh things to do in the cities where they operate to deliver “daily deals Gulf style”. COMMIT Internet Ventures is highly in tune with unique needs of the Middle East culture to adapt successful e-business models to the region. Thus, their genie’s lantern aims to “enrich lives” and not just to “deliver coupons”. And they are achieving this based in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, the most important and largest market in the Middle East where they have built strategic partnerships with Saudi Telecom, Saudi Post, SABB, and AdvanTag. COMMIT Internet Ventures' meal delivery site www.aklaty.com provides a convenient way to receive the best local food at home. The service will be launched year 2013. COMMIT Internet Ventures is part of a holding company, COMMIT Network.
